TICANOX (TiCN) withstands the high impact, abrasion and thermal shock of HSS milling tool processing due to its multiple layers of titanium, carbide and nitride.
Using CemeCon’s High Ion Sputtering (H.I.S.™) technology, we achieve consistent coating thicknesses cycle to cycle. This consistency helps provide flexibility and fatigue strength during dynamic stress. It also prevents cracking to enhance long tool life for machining of all kinds of steel.
TICANOX is chemically stable up to 600° C. This protects the coated tool against excessive thermal stress.
